one more. more later. the tires here are modern radials that i mounted las summer. i will post a pic of car with the dried out 9yr old bias ply wwwalls. i also didn't replace the stainless trim rings that seem to rub on the valve stems. i kinda like the rum runner look. Tom.

attemting to post a pic of '37 with the old dried up bias ply wwwalls.i kinda like the rum runner look of the modern readial black walls.i believe most of the cars were born with bws. i didnt replace the stainless trim rings because i thought they were rubbing on valve stems.i'm trying to remember more. of improvement. installed turn sigs.the modern radials sure make a diff over old hard bias plys. Tom.

Re: Find out more about my '37 fordor
there is a story behind i suppose why i like the rum runner look of my '37 now that it has the modern black walls and no stainless wheel trim rings prolly because my dad wo was born in 1909 was himself a rum runner in 1930s but before that part of his life he was a motorcycle officer. he had to put the motor cop job behind him for he had come down with double pneumonia. when he recovered shortly there after i was told by my aunt and uncle he ran liquer. that lasted only a short while and had moved on to a respectable career in repair of all systems at a large institution.trying to make a long story short this is prolly why when i take the '37 out for a liquer run i sort of feel like my dad is ridn along. Tom.ps; NOT REALLY LIQUER RUN,just what i call an hour ride in the '37.
