retractable or non seatbelts?
Hi All,
I want to install 3 pt. seat belts up front in my wagon. What are people using retractable ones or non retractable ones? Can people please post pics and may dimensions for welding in the plates. Thanks, Mike

Re: retractable or non seatbelts?
I always use retractable seat belts because non-retractable belts tend to fall out of the door openning when you get out. If they hit a painted surface, chippy, chippy!

Re: retractable or non seatbelts?
I have 3-point retractable belts in my car, from Wesco. I bolted in their plates for the top mount in the B pillars.
I had to go with other bolts for the top, the ones that came with the set were too short with the garnish moldings installed. I used a grade-8 bolt and had to fab up a pair of spacers so they fit like the too-short ones. |
