Re: 34 gas gauge/sending unit/educate me please
I am currently soaking my 1933 gauge in ospho to try and get the small copper tube from the reservoir to the glass tube un clogged. In the event that I am unable to unclog it, what are my options?
Is there a 6 volt sending unit/pickup that fits in the hole in an original style tank? does anyone know of a company that restores these gauges? Also, The glass tube on my gauge has no cap on top. I am assuming this is a rubber cap. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement cap? The fuel gauge repair kits I have seen come with the red fluid and copper air line plus fittings but not the cap for the glass tube. Thanks!
