Sticky Hood Solution?
The hood on my 32 sticks aggressively to the cowl and radiator welting making it hard to open.
Has anyone experienced this and what did you apply to the welting so it doesn't stick? Glenn |

Re: Sticky Hood Solution?
NO, but I would try talcum powder.

Re: Sticky Hood Solution?
Thanks for the idea Karl.
I just ran chalk over the welting, figured close to talcum but easier to apply. I'll know tomorrow whether it works. Thanks, Glenn |

Re: Sticky Hood Solution?
Maybe try wiping it with some Armor All.

Re: Sticky Hood Solution?
Glenn,
Is your hood lacing the original version with a hard black/brown core or the replacement version with a relatively soft white core? |

Re: Sticky Hood Solution?
Morning David,
I have the black/brown core. I removed the chalk and applied Armorall 3 times and it seems to help. I applied it two days ago, went for a nice ride yesterday morning and then checked the hood today. It was still slightly sticky but broke the contact easily. Glenn |

Re: Sticky Hood Solution?
I used silicon spray on a rag and it works fine.
