Default 100E part 52! New driveshaft joints. Plus other jobs.

In this episode I fit new joints to the propshaft using firstly a vice and then the press. The press is easier if you have one. I then take care of a couple of smaller jobs, all of which need doing to enable the 100E resurrection to progress.
I Hope you enjoy this offering. Don't forget: Keep it real! Keep it cheap!

I had a u-joint fall apart in a dirt parking lot on my ‘60 Falcon Rancharo. Since I couldn’t find all the needle bearings, I cut the heads and points off of some finishing nails, stuffed the joint full of wheel bearing grease and put it back together, I then drove the truck for a while then sold it.

I, like you Mart, have done it both ways and indeed the press does a better job of it.
