This surprises me! I never would have guessed that the price of motor oil would have decreased over time. I guess the global reliance on automobiles is to thank for that...
30 cents back in the 1930s is anywhere from $5.50 to $7.00 today (the Great Depression made inflation a rollercoaster!) I can pick up a quart of motor oil from the nearby Napa for less that that! |
