1936 coupe ignition cylinder
I am rebuilding my steering lock and ignition switch and am having trouble finding a new cylinder and key, everybody seems to be out of stock. Its listed as a 48-3686, to fit late 1935-48.
Does anybody know where I can get one please? |

Re: 1936 coupe ignition cylinder
Are you aware of the appearance of the 36 cylinder, it is unique. There is a very good photo in the 35-36 V8 Club restoration book along with the key code prefix and the shape of the key.

Re: 1936 coupe ignition cylinder
The key is the Hurd round head. This key also operated the door cylinder. Cylinders and keys can be keyed alike and new keys are no problem.
