Default 1940-41 Ford Pick Fender Questions

Are the 1939 ,1940 and 1941 FORD pickup front fenders interchangeable?
A friend of mine just bought an old 1941 FORD pickup fire truck and since he is not a compter person, I said I would try and find out. He needs front fenders. I did do a search but didn't find answers? This firetruck has a pickup cabin and was built as a firetruck with dual wheels in the back. It's been sitting in a mine up in Vermont for years. Thanks, JIM

PS: I was just thinking that is it possible it's really not a pick up since it has dual rear wheels. Wouldn't pick ups be too light duty for a fire truck? I don't have a photo.

You are right, most likely its not a pickup. But,40-41 pickup front fenders are the same.

If its a dually, more than likely its a 1.5 ton or larger truck which means your friend should be looking for fenders from a 3/4 ton truck and larger. See the attached photo of a 40 One Ton Express. Headlight buckets mounted on the fenders as opposed to being integrated into the fender is typical of the large trucks.

THANK you all for the very helpful advice. I will try and get a photo of this "pickup firetruck" to really verify what it is.
