1939 Ford Tudor side window
I asked this on another forum if you saw it there Apologies.
Does anyone know the measurements of the front side door windows, 1939 Ford Tudor. I have a set of new windows that came with my project. I was asking about mounting the lift/channel to the glass. I was sent a picture from Nu Relics with window measurements on it. The problem is the window measurements on the picture are not the same as my window. Does anyone have the measurements for a stock window? Can windows vary by that much? A cardboard template was suggested and I will try that. My window : length = 33 11/16" height = 14" Nu Relics: length = 33 3/8" height = 13 1/2" |

Re: 1939 Ford Tudor side window
If you have the stock glass for the car it would be smaller in length than what New Relics shows you. The original glass was designed to roll back about 1-1 1/2 inches before it goes down with the stock regulators. The New Relics windows only go up and down, so the glass would be larger since it does not go backward into the door.

I am using the original manual regulators. There were no windows in the car when I bought it. I got a box full of all new windows. |
