Default Main and rod shims

I have shims for the mains and rods, these shim packs are laminated, what is an easy way to separate them, I was told to use a razor blade but this seems a hard way to do it, trying to pick.003 is not to easy, first look at them they appeared to be solid,..... any tips appreciated.

take a razor blade and scrape it along the edge of one corner with light pressure. It should delaminate a few shims. Tease the one you want to remove a bit until you are sure you have only one, then grip it and peel it off.
