windows in 35 pickup

My 35 pickup came into my life with some parts supplied loose. the window regulators have me baffled. I can get the parts into the door and they simply don't line up and raise and lower the window. I know that I am doing something wrong, but need some instructions as to which regulator goes in which door, and how it all fits together. Help?
