any special sealant to put on studs in my 35 V-8 ?

Yes - I always use a good coating of PTF based stud sealer . . . ARP makes some and it is good stuff. Also, coat the sides of the studs with anti-seize before you put the heads on.

GM has a Teflon based sealant to use of Studs that go into the water jacket. Not a tape but but kinda of a paste, comes in a tooth paste type tube. Can't remember the P/N number for it at the moment.Should be able to get it at any GM dealer.
