What will these fit
I got these tires and wheels, 206 R75, only name I see is Steel Belt. Anyway, if I measured correctly, stud spacing is 4.5, I was thinking they hould be 5.5
I want to list them, and the hubcaps, and some (aftermarket) skirts from my '46 Ford. Problem is, I'm not sure how to describe the wheels, because of the 4.5 spacing. Oops, the name on them is Steel Trak, and size is 205/75R15. I am trying to figure out pictures... Last edited by treeman; 08-11-2023 at 03:49 PM. |

Re: What will these fit
Also, I think 205/75R15 is a good replacement size for '55 and '56 Fords.

Re: What will these fit
From the diameter of the hubcap nubs I believe the wheels are Mopar which also used the 4.5 spacing.

Re: What will these fit
The hub register/hole may be different on a Mopar vs. a Ford if I remember correctly. Anyone know the center hole size for Ford? I have a trailer with Ply wheels I can measure.

Re: What will these fit
Ford car 15" steel wheels are correct for '49 to '56 Ford car.
The center hole on '49 to '56 Ford wheels is 2 3/8". The red wheels in your picture are MOPAR wheels which will fit many Ford cars, but those wheels do have a bigger center hole, and take 9 1/4" hubcaps, but the lug spacing is 4.5". Below is a 5 lug wheel measurement diagram.
