Default leak down test

Have trouble with tdc the motor will rotate when air is turned on. 3 plugs installed in gear and brake on. tried bottom dc cant get valves shut. All help is appreciated thanks John

How much air are you supplying? Only need like 10psi. Set the parking brake hard in 3rd gear.

Take the plugs out as you wont be able to detect if it blows into the next cyl.

3rd gear is important! Overdrive is better.

I don't think 10 psi is enough, 75 -100 psi is more like it. I even leak engines down on
the engine stands,...you just need to make sure your on TDC...
