What is the recomended torque for the bolts that attach the torque tube to the differential?

9/16's wrench, about 8" long. Pull tight but not jack-the-bear tight!

Ford mechanics used 'feel' when it came to torque..an experienced man can hit it spot on, even with multiple fasteners.

35 ft. lbs. is recommended in most documents. It is the same as the 20 banjo bolts, which are the same thread size.

When installing theses bolts I want them to be tight, but also lined up so the safety wire forms a perfect circle. To do this I have an ample supply of bolts and through trial and error and swapping them around I can get them tight and lined up.

The photo shows my trade mark. It may not be according to Henry, but I think it looks better.

Tom, by any chance do you do any maintenance on aircraft. What you have done looks similar to what an AME would do to lock wire and older propeller onto the propeller hub.

Banjo bolts are "special." Class fit is "tighter" than usual to prevent oil leak. You can't (shouldn't) use common bolts without RTV or other sealant, and run the risk of stripping them out as common bolts are undersize in comparison to the holes. Torque tube bolts may be the same.
