Can anyone tell me if a 1956 Ford sedan windshield will fit a 1955 Mercury station wagon.

To put it more simply;
All '55/56 Ford sedan models (including wagons) have the same windshield. That windshield also fits '55 Ford Victoria 2-dr hardtop, '55 Mercury Monterey 2-dr hardtop AND '56 Ford Fairlane 4-dr hardtop.
The only '55 Ford model that has a different windshield is the Crown Victoria. That same windshield fits all '55/56 Mercury 2-dr and 4-dr hardtops (except '55 Monterey). The Crown Vic and Mercury hardtop windshield is shallower than the sedan windshield because they have a lower top than the sedans.

The 1955 & 1956 Mercury Station Wagons shared the same body as the same year Ford Station Wagons.

1955 Mercury Station Wagon. Notice that these wagons don't have the bulge on the rear door and rear quarter panels like the other 1955 and 1956 Mercury body styles. That is because they shared the same Ford Station Wagon Bodies.
