Re: 2013 Moonshine Festival
Love the pics, that black 36 coupe is just plain gorgeous.
It's great to see the roads all filled with period cars rather than them just parked up in rows on a showfield. Great to see them being used too. Thanks for posting the pictures. Paul.

Re: 2013 Moonshine Festival
Yeah, had every spare part imaginable except a starter and Kiwi Tony brought one here for me. We are at Thunder Road now, getting ready to check the flea's and then walk up to Dawsonville Center Square. Great show, great time!!

Re: 2013 Moonshine Festival
Hi Everyone, Add my thanks for you'all's postings.
Vic, Thanks for getting me to take a second look at posts 273 & 274. Cut up a pretty Tudor, to make a phake Phaeton? I hope it was done a long time ago, at least. To each his own with his toys. #267, the group shot, is that 41ford1 in the back row with the red cap? What's he driving? #276 & #288, DAVID PEARSON, Oh My Goodness. 105 NASCAR Victories, 3 Championships! Kiwi Tony and his super sweet '36 with what looks like the rare Pines Winterfront Grill, he's being nice and lending David a running board. And Vic, looking satisfied! Too much fun being had by all! -VT/JeffH Last edited by VeryTangled; 10-27-2013 at 08:18 PM. |

Re: 2013 Moonshine Festival
Post 275, Interesting car... Opinions or more info anyone?
The rear deck is so long but it's not a 12cyl. Odd bumpers, hood sides, hood top, wide5 wheels?!? -VT/JeffH |

Re: 2013 Moonshine Festival
Hey Jeff, that is an absolutly stunning '35 3 Window coupe done in a '40's style Westergard or Coachcraft fashion. My personal favorite car from the whole show. I believe it was lowered the old fashioned way and NOT with airbags. As you can see it has a built 24 stud Flatty. It was also sporting a '40's style custom interior with a 1940 Ford dash. The car was so pretty in person you just couldn't believe it.

Re: 2013 Moonshine Festival
You should move it to the top of your list, Bill. The way the Festival has been growing in recent years, it will be too big to enjoy before long. There is only so much space in that little town.
