Default 46-48 Dash in a 41

Hi all,

Starting in again on an old project - 1941 Ford 2dr Sedan mild custom. I'd heard that the 46-48 dash is pretty much a drop-in on the 41. Can I use any dash out of those years? I saw one on eBay that was described as fitting a convertible or wagon, are those different?

My thinking is that for a custom it'll be a better look to have the larger gauge openings. More options for gauges that way, too.

Thanks for any advice.

Nick
