Default MTFCA web site

Has anyone else had trouble getting on the MTFCA web site?

I thought it was just me! Well, maybe it is. But it's a relief to know that I'm not the only one on the outside looking in. Hopefully the MTFCA website will be back soon. It's a great resource. Perhaps it will return with a forum topic search function that actually works instead of spins its wheels endlessly?

Seems with all the technocrats in the world today the MTFCA could scurry up one or 2 and plug the website forums back in. In this fast paced instant gratification day and age it should not take several days to change and warm up the tubes.

Maybe its time they diverted some of the monies from the dues or from the museum and spend it on the website. Or better yet, how about a sur charge when paying dues to provide our web master with the funds needed to keep his excellent work and efforts up to speed.

With the membership all kicking in a couple of bucks a year, the needed funds to keep our website would be at the ready. I know he works his backside off to provide us members with a really great tool to communicate and teach "model t'ism's to newbies and us older guys that have forgot a lot of what we used to know.

How about it board members, float the issue and lets get something accomplished for a change, like a vote for a $2.00 surcharge for the website???? I'm guessing someone on the board can remember how to, but let me hand carry you through the process, make a motion, get a second, call for the question, then all in favor raise your hand, opposed , motion carried, basic and simple, try it you might be amazed how easy it is, you can proudly say you actually accomplished something during your term.

just sayin'
