Default Who bought the Standard '30 Blindback on ebay?

Anybody here score that car? An early '30 Standard, which is fairly uncommon. The guy that listed it was all frothy over the aftermarket heater and never once mentioned it was the rare Briggs standard two window sedan of which 5279 examples were produced. I made a run at it, but alas, deeper pockets prevailed.
Sure hope a rodder didn't get it.

If you are talking about the black one at the provided link, it's an April/May built 170-B Deluxe Fordor. I have one very similar.

The Fordor shown by Model A Man appears to be a 29 Leather Back. If it was a Blind Back, the two rear corners at the top would be rounded more.

The vin, if it's the origional engine, is from march, and I didn't see a rear center armrest. Enlighten me if I'm wrong, but isn't that a standard sedan?

It definitely has a center armrest and is mohair instead of the standard brown check. The engine was completed March 19 and could have taken several weeks to find it's way into a car.

Hmmm. Thanks for the clinic. Guess I'm glad I didn't win it. I'd still like one of these, though.
