my photo collection 15
still more from the vintage photo file. Someone was offended that one of the photos was not a model A, but I have many that are not model A in that file, and one slipped in.

Great photos, and I wouldn't be to concerned about the occasional odd photo. Most on here just have a good time looking at photos from days gone by and enjoying and comparing the different autos, what ever they may be.

I think offended is a strong word! Viewers expect to see Model A Fords on a Model A Ford forum. If it was AACA they would expect a variety. Wayne

The six wheel 30/31 dropside AA is a Russian GAZ .My brother went to trade fair in Russia some years ago . I asked him to take pics of every GAZ truck he saw . I thought maybe some would be in museums . He did get a few pics and in every case the truck was on top of a tall pole !!!

Re: my photo collection 15
AA trucks built in England mostly had the dropside body . Other bodies ,dump, van etc etc same as USA were available as well . The dropside worked well as it could be dropped in seconds . Many places had loading bays at the back of their premises which stuck out like piers at the right height ,often wondered why this option was not offered in USA ,far less cumberson than the stake bed .

Re: my photo collection 15
I saw the preview for a movie coming out about the Soviets taking over and starving Ukraine. It is called Bitter Harvest. It should be instructional, but it showed some AA trucks in the preview and I wondered whether they were real GAZ trucks or just standard Fords?
