Did you go to either of the LeMay museums great race finishes.? Tuesday the gerties are going out the back way( skate creek rd) to the Packwood museum and check out a model A bus. Guess that’s my day off! |

Re: Have a Great Independence D"A"y
More info: the evergreen model A club put a borrowed engine in a roadster just shortly before the race started down in California. It was a father(77 yrs navigator) and daughter( the driver) team. Our Tacoma club volunteered at the finish at the LeMays family museum.
The part about the model A club tour to view a restored model A bus is self explanatory. |

But you’re probably right. Many parade/ice cream cars are basically a nice paint job, but you couldn’t trust em to go more than a few miles! We had one the other day a lady inherited from her father that looked nice, but mechanically it was in pretty bad shape. |

I'm just poking fun,we all like the car.To some the beauty is the appearance,to others it's the mechanicals.
