That bank is a beautiful building and it's nice to see it well preserved.

My brother lives in an old small town bank building. The vault is his bedroom.

I've always had a longing to convert an old "institutional" building to a home. There are so many beautiful examples out there being neglected, they should be relatively
inexpensive to obtain.
Finding the right one, in a viable proximity to where one needs to be, is another issue.

This building is now owned by the preservation commitee of Beverly and is part of a nice museum system. They also just aquired the city prison which was built in the early 1800s.
