Default Cerakote C

Anyone spray Cerakote C.....Did you use a HVLP gun OR has anyone used a Preval Sprayer OR Know IF its thin enough as it comes to use a Preval Sprayer. I do know for the later it needs to be water thin......AND Also is there anything that can be used to thin cerakote C??? IF you used it in an HVLP gun, what did you use to clean your HVLP gun afterward????

Thanks for any application help.

There are many different types of Cerakote - I've used the C series, H series, etc.. They are ALL very thin! I use a HVLP touch-up gun (so I don't waste material). I use acetone to clean the gun. If you have specific questions, go to the Cerakote sight and send in a technical request - they are pretty good about getting back to you.

I’ve also sprayed it using an HVLP touch up gun. It doesn’t need to be anything fancy, but the tip size is important. Here is the application guide Cerakote sent me when I first started using their C-series products.

Here’s and image of the application guide if that’s better than pdf.

Never mind, the image is kinda blurry. Use the pdf I added in my previous post.

That image I posted is blurry. I attached the pdf for it in post #6, which is much easier to read.
