Default Nifty 40 find??

Met a younger fellow here in town a couple of months ago who has a nice 40 deluxe coupe, when we where talking about it I was telling him about the 40 restoration book tha Kube did and about his magnificent restorations on 39’s & 40’s and how he wraps his springs like original. He said he thought he had a “wrapped” spring and lo and behold he does, looks like maybe??? NOS??? Still has the “Ford” script and stamp!!

Found a NOS 10 leaf rear spring for my 48 business coupe recently. The P/N for the spring cover was clearly visible. Judging from the spring count my 42 coupe has sedan springs front and rear. Amazing this stuff is still out there!
