Default Model A day..

I think I read some where that September 10 is "Model A Day" and anyone with a Model A should take the car out for a run.

You read it here. The idea is to show the public that these cars car and do get driven. Get yours out!!!

We''l be out in our "Miss Tillie" and if we get caught in the rain, well it won't be the first time.....

Finally got the Trico Vacuum wiper working, (ver-r-r-y slowly) but a good Rain-X job keeps us in the clear..........

INTERNATIONAL MODEL A FORD DAY is Saturday, September, 10, with a local rain date of Sept 11th.
JUST DRIVE YOUR MODEL A FORD that day.
Here is a link from MARC.
Sew on patches are available still, but the likelyhood of arrival in time is slim.

Please email me photos so I can forward an article to Model A News, Restorer and Model A times.

Thanks.

Worcester County (MA) Model A Club is celebrating Model A Day Sept 17 with a cookout in Barre, MA at a state park there. Why not extend the event??????

YES, but NEXT Year's New England Meet is about 400 Miles North of New York City in Maine, near Camden.

New England Meet includes clubs from PA to Maine.

Our gated neighborhood is holding its annual picnic on Model A day and the organizers asked that neighbors bring an example of their hobby to share with everyone. I'm bringing my late 1928 Model A station wagon.

Here's what we are planning:

Looking forward to a sunny day for our Model A Day festivities this Sat, 10 Sep, 9am at Sears Mall.

We have official patches commemorating the event. All you have to do to get one is come join the fun.

We'll leave Sears Mall about 10 and do a parade downtown. From there we'll go to Point Woronzoff for some pics. Then we'll have a lunch lineup at City Diner. After that we'll go out to Kincaid Park for more pics and finally we'll end up at Tastee Freeze for desert and give out the patches.
