Default Moonshine Festival motels???

Hi,

I am new to the Ford Barn but it seems very interesting to me and I've always been an old Ford fan.

I see some interest in the Mooshine festival in Dawsonville, GA. Can anyone tell me where to find a motel room or is it too late for this year?

Thanks

Hotel/motel rooms are still available in the area, if you want less expensive accommodations you need to look outside the Dawsonville area. We (the Cigar City Flatheads) are staying at the Hampton Inn in Alpharetta, south of Dawsonville, on Old Morris road, off of the GA 400. The phone # is: 678-393-0990. We are planning the "Don't Follow Me, I'm Lost Tour" for Friday and we'll be meeting everyone at the Old Sautee Store in Sautee, Ga. at 9:00am on Friday the 25th. if you would like to go on the tour, PM me and I'll give you my cell phone #. Hope you can make it. Vic

I always stay in Dahlonega, about 12 mi. North of Dawsonville. It's an easy trip to Dawsonville and there are plenty of things to do and eat.

Do a Google search of "lodging in Dahlonega, Ga" and start calling. I've always been able to find a room there.

Thanks for the quick responses. I drove through that area several years ago so I'm kind of familiar with it. Would a "slightly modified" '32 pickup be out of place there?
