Re: Kick Panels
Aaron, for wood try:
Classic Wood Products, LLC, 1006 North Raleigh Street, Greensboro, NC 27405, United States or Ford Wood, Phone: 435-749-0037 Fax: 435-687-9239 P.O. Box 1401 Huntington, Utah 84528 Ford Wood can be a little hard to reach sometimes. There is an ouyfit in the central valley that does kick panels, can't think of their name right now. Ed |

Re: Kick Panels
Thanks Gents
I don't have the old panels, so that leaves me out of that I'll check quiet ride, they made the firewall pad for a C 600 2 ton for me,good people. I'll keep the other two in mind for the wood. And I talked to Mike at Classic for the panels. Thanks again |

Re: Kick Panels
I would think that a paper template could fairly easily be made by folding the sides to the proper shape . I got a four by eight , thin sheet of paneling from the local hardware store to cut my panels from .

Re: Kick Panels
You can buy the cardboard in sheets. Shipping could be a problem. Upholstery cardboard is moisture resistant.

Re: Kick Panels
I'll be getting the kick panels from Classic, Mike knows his products and was informative, they'll take a couple weeks to get made.
Ed, have you used wood from either of those two companys, the owner wants me to get a wood kit and a top, classic also does tops, he says about 1000 $ and had said something about some one that did wood kits but I don't remember who. |

Am again looking into finding something semi flexible that approximates original kick panels and door cards for my pickup. Am not fond of the plastic rigid style panels. Would the upholstery cardboard be suitable? Can you recommend where to purchase? |

Re: Kick Panels
Aaron,
I purchased my top bows from Ford Wood, my header and 3 door kits came from Classic. The only issue I had was one door kit had two of the same side. I called and they shipped the correct board right away. All wood kits will require some sanding and fitting. I got my top from LB before they went belly up. Check out the chicken wire to make sure it is OK. I used the quite ride instead of that cotton stuff that came with the top kit. Closed Cab, Check to see if you have a Keyston Bros or similar supplier in your area for "panel board" Last edited by Ed Wendell; 02-29-2020 at 10:54 AM. Reason: Added info |

Re: Kick Panels
Thanks for the info, but there isn't any chicken wire on this sport coupe.
