have a 28 model a 3 speed, haveing second gear pop out, would a 4 speed model aa truck transmission replace it. and anyone have one available. thanks [email protected]

It's cheaper to overhaul and replace the brearings and any worn out gears of your original transmission. Check the other threads, here on Ford Barn, that address your same situation. Buy the Les Andrews manuals (and other restorer books) to learn more about the transmision and how to rebuild it.
