36 pickup window

would anyone have the measurement from the edge of the side window glass to the lower window channel, i'm having trouble getting the channel in the right spot on the glass, i was told an 1 1/2" on the latch side and 2" on the hinge side, but that doesn't seem right.

Just measured the sharpie lines on my old glass; and what you have posted is where I will start. 2" front and 1.5 on the rear.
