I would like to offer the suggestion that you advertise them in the Swap Meet Section.

I think you asked the question in the wrong tone. This is how you should have asked.I need to have my knee shocks rebuilt. What can I expected to pay for this service and who does this kind of work. You could flower the question up a little bit by saying you are new to this hobby, 25 year old female blonde, just got divorce and drive this totally cool restored thirty five Ford to work everyday at the strip club. The tips are down right now because of the poor economy.

This might help.

I read your post again. Maybe you want to sell them. I thought you wanted them rebuilt and were asking for quotes for the rebuild. Let us know what you are talking about.

Sturgis 39, I liked your first answer better. Damn strippers never know what they want anyways.

I'll offer you $50.00 for everything. Send me a PM if you want to sell them. Many times used shocks DO NOT = rebuildable shocks. I had Bill W. go through a bunch of my shocks last year at Hershey. Over 50% were not rebuildable.

I know what you mean by many used shocks are not rebuildable. I thought mine were good to rebuild but not so. Had to buy good cores.

I wonder what is meant by 'knee' shocks. When I hear the term 'knee', I'm not thinking Ford at all, but rather, GM. If this is the case, us Ford folks would likely not 'have-a-clue'........????

I thought of the old Knee Action front ends on GM cars when I first read it too. Shows we are getting old I guess.

These may be Delco Lovejoy Shocks as used on GM and other cars from the late twenties on up into the fourties. There was also a retrofit kit available to install these shocks to a Ford Product. If so, Apple Hydraulics in New York will rebuild them. They do a very good job with a very fast turn around time. I just had a pair rebuilt for the rear of my "32.
