Default flathead with 41T in head

Hey guys, a friend just e-mailed me, he bought a 37 dump truck all restored. I told him it should have a 21 stud engine. He counted the studs, 24 with 41T raised casting in the center of the heads. I don't remember ever seeing 41T on the heads. Has anyone seen this? Walt

41T was a wartime replacement for 38 to 42 90hp truck engines.

It will have late type valve pockets so it could be used on any 24 stud block, including the postwar 41A replacement block for 221's.
