Posting question from a new member

A couple of days ago I started a new thread to introduce ourselves and our "new" car. That went fine and several members replied to it. When I added a reply a day later a message popped up that my reply would need to be reviewed and approved by a moderator (btw - it is still waiting for approval).

I'm curious why my new thread post was ok but my reply needed to be approved.
