Default Pump in head water pumps

I see that the likes of Mac's, Snyder's and Dennis Carpenter are now offering reproduction early pump in head water pumps with modern sealed bearings etc. Anyone had any experience of using them?
Are they all supplying them from the same source?
Thanks for any advice
Gavin
