According to Dr. Phil people with ink have low self esteem. This could be true. Harley owners and riders have tattoos. What caused the low self esteem? It could be owning a Harley. I worked with some older guys when going to college and most of them wished they had never got a tattoo.

I thought tattoos might be a way identify what chicks to hit on in bars. I have not experimented with this theory.

Not to stir the pot here....

But isn't it funny what people do? Someone asked nicely for people to post pictures of related tattoos. Almost every single post except one was an opinion one way or the other about tattoos!!! Correct me if I'm wrong, but the thread was supposed to be about pictures of tattoos NOT opinions about whether tattoos are "cool" or "stupid" or whatever.

Geez guys, grow up. If he had asked about posting pictures of your favorite grill almost every single post would have been pictures of really nice grills not people complaining about whether or not cars should have grills...

Just my 2 cents...

When my wife was in her 30's she got a tattoo of a panther on her breast. Now it looks like an otter.

Now that's the only good reply to this whole thread. IMO...

Tough thread here but I'll add mine. Not done yet and not quite a flathead, more like a flemi (flathead + hemi). One more session to go to get it finished.

Tattoos are like old Fords, some people like em and have em and some don't. To each his own.

I know a recently Divorced guy who has "just say No" tattooed around his finger where the Wedding band used to be.

I could be asking for trouble here but what the hey
Here is my latest of my pick up. It is flathead powered although you can't see it in this.
It's only half done, need to do the bed area of the truck and then the dry lakes background.

Holy cow Lawson, you and I agree on something! Tattoos are for Navy sailors, and only the one that says MOM in a heart. I do like to see that kind of dedication from younger guys though.

I have a 32 hubcap V8 on my forearm but can't post a pic. And that pickup on gavin m is amazing! And its nice to see that people can take a simple question about pictures and turned it into a lifestyle bashing party. "Oh well what are you gonna do when your 80 with all those tattoos?" I'm gonna do the same thing you will but be a lot more interesting while doing it.
