New 1940 Truck project ,front clip removal
What is the benefits of removing the whole front clip vs removing one fender at a time and then grill ect? It seems easier to do the hammer and dent removal completely dis assembled.Im totally new and excited to start. Thanks

As the grille is pot metal, it can easily break when placed under stress. that being the case, I'd remove the grille as an assembly first. Then, a fender and then the other fender.
Is this a half ton?

Unless it is necessary, I would leave the hood in place for alignment purposes.
