Default Original Registration!! 1935

We took out the glove box on my 35 3 Window and what did we find ?? The original Vehicle registration dated April 24, 1935!! According to the S/N - this is an early April built car! Wow - I'm blown away! I thought this only happened in the movies!

Nice find, you are very lucky... I have a 34 and fornd a 1940 American Penny down at the bottom of the drivers door , very tarnished, it could have been there for a long time or a year or two ? also found a short piece of metal gas line in the other door..

Peter, That is neat! Who was the first owner? In your area? If it is not too common a name maybe you could locate some family in your area who would love to know that "Grampies" car is still going strong. They may even have some old photos of your car. Dig into it.

Original owner was from New England as am I - I will will try to investigate a bit to see what I can find. Should be interesting. Also - through this forum I found out that our very own Walt Dupont rebuilt the enging in 1977 when he was with Portland (Maine) Clutch - has his name on the engine tag! Small small world!
