'48 F-1 Truck Wiper Arm Length
Are they the same length for both the passenger and driver side?
Or maybe I should say were they originally the same length...... |

If you are going to run both use 9" or 10" blades. Also do not use a strong spring arm.
Vacuum wipers need all the help you can give them. Your milage may vary. Bruce

transmission and eliminate some "slop" there..... Planning on doing that tonight. Huh. All the play in the right side wiper was apparently the lack of a bushing where the linkage connects to the wiper motor. Interestingly enough, a common rubber grommet fit right in there. (0.5" OD, 0.419" ID & 0.068" thick) I knew I'd use one of those Harbor Freight grommets eventually...... Last edited by 1948F-1Pickup; 04-06-2017 at 09:02 PM. |
