Default Fuel pump ?

Trying to help a friend has a flathead v8 ford lobe is worn 0n cam shaft is there fix to make rod longer put something on rod any help would be appreciated Rog

I heard you can weld tip on rod or old timers used a small washer on pump

Put a small piece of leather in the push rod cup as a temporary fix.

Check with a dialindicator what lift you have first...if you havent got enough lift to make it work no shims in the world will fix it.

Yep, you can make the rod longer, but you can't increase the lift.
