Default Water inlet

Does anyone sell the water inlet on the driver's side of the block? Mine is a little corroded and I thought I would replace it while I am having the radiator rodded out. I don't see one in the two parts book that I have.

The only ones I see that the vendors are listing now is the cast aluminum one with the extra heater boss on them.

I've seen the original used cast iron ones show up on eBay from time to time. Those may not be any better than the one you already have, it's a crap shoot!

The ones in the Berts book look like the water outlet up by the water pump to me. Doesn't the water inlet have a round hole gasket like in the Bert's book? They are closed today or I would call them.

The water inlet is the one on the left side of the engine. I didn't see one on Bert's on line catalog, but they may have a good used one if they don't have new ones.

Hey John,
You done good and get good parts and service form Steve and company !
And, as with your water inlet need/request, you will find most any part that you could need with Berts. I like that Steve will go into the original parts pile to get you something that is not re-popped these days. All of the original parts that I've gotten from Berts FIT TOO
