Fuel pump stopped
I have an in-tank fuel pump in my 49 hot rod. Gas might have been in there 3 years and the fuel pump assembly was new in 2016. Gas was sort of dark when I siphoned it out. I'll bet I have to clean out the tank don't you suppose?
Do you think this might be why the fuel pump quit? Will clean with water, Tide and then Rust 911.

Re: Fuel pump stopped
That looks like quite a project. Good luck with it.

Re: Fuel pump stopped
Looks like it was caused by alcohol gasoline. Had only 5 gallons in it. Bought some pure quill to put in it after it is fixed. I now have another 5 gallons of contaminated gas I don't know what to do with!
