Looking for My '37 Pickup
I'm looking for my '37 pickup, which I sold in 1992. CA license plate 74748U. Sold it to a Model T guy from the Sacramento area who wanted a V8. Any leads greatly appreciated.

Re: Looking for My '37 Pickup
It's got to be out there somewhere. I will pay a $1,000 finder's fee for information leading to its repurchase. I think the Model T guy that bought it lived in Rio Linda, CA. It may be out of state, however, as its former license number, 74748U shows as available on DMV records, so it may not have been registered in California for a number of years.

Re: Looking for My '37 Pickup
Here's an idea for you. Contact all of the Early V8 Ford Clubs that are in the areas you think this PU may be. The club rosters usually include a list of the vehicles owned by each member along with the member's name and contact information. If the clubs won't give out a roster to non-members, then contact the president of each club, explain your situation and perhaps they will at least include your story in their monthly news letter.
In addition, buy an ad in the national EFV8 club' bi-monthly publication. For $1,000 you can buy one hell of an ad. Good luck in finding this "child" you gave up for adoption 25 years ago. |

And your analogy is spot on, by the way! |
