1936 ford 4 cyl.?
Just picked up a new project. A 1936 ford 5 window coupe. Has no motor or trans, but it does have a radiator with one outlet in the center of the top for a 4 cylinder I think. Also the gas pedal linkage looks off a bit also. Did they put a 4 cylinder in a 1936? Custom job someone else did? Also it has a *18-.....* vin number, but I thought that meant it would of been a v-8. Just curious. Thanks.

Probably had an OHV V8 in it at one time....

Last Ford 4 cylinder was '34 until '41, which was a one year option.

Probably had a Chevy 265 or 283 on an adaptor.
