Default 1933 Cabriolet top irons

I am curious, are these arms supposed to be arched, or are they supposed to be flat?

This is looking down from above folded down.

The three pieces in your photo that are front to back are all bent out of their original shape.

Perhaps the one closest to center of the photo is not bent now that Pete provided us with a larger photo.
