4 Cylinder, Banger Model A, B, C
4 Cylinder, Banger Model A, B, C
… I have used every search word combination and can’t find a dedicated Forum for the 4 Cylinder, Banger Model A, B, C. Is there such an animal on the Ford Barn? |

The Monthly "Banger Meet" on the HAMB is one of the highlights of the site IMO. Black and White Photos Pre WWII and Auto Racing 1894-1944 are my other two favorites. The HAMB is FAR MORE than a Traditional Hot Rod site.

The expertise you can find there is astounding, though of course it is an open forum and there are plenty of amateurs and dangerous lunatics.
There are a number of people on there with decades of racing experience as well as conventional rebuilding. What is interesting, though, is the number of YOUNG banger enthusiasts who have appeared there, some American, some English and European...there was even a Romanian who had encountered some fragments of a Wehrmacht Model BB engine dumped during WWII! The Model A and Early V8 clubs seem to have a dearth of young members...but there are a LOT of banger and flathead learners over there. |

Keep searching, I've learned a lot on both subjects, from both sites!

When you go on the HAMB, type "banger" in the search box and hit enter, that weeds out most of the other stuff.

Re: 4 Cylinder, Banger Model A, B, C
Some ruined it by insisting on having a running battle with the main person who started it and having him forced off of Fordbarn. Big loss for some of us. Too bad people can't leave personal grudges aside for the sake of the hobbie in general. There was no need to make a private running battle so public. Rod
