The V8 shift lever wears at the ball on the end of the stick, that makes the shifter sloppy. I put a piece of aluminum round stock on the Mitchell shift lever instead of a shift knob, mainly cause I didn’t like bending over to shift it..I’m going to try and adapt a swan neck shift lever to the Mitchell linkage.. two swan necks side by side would be neat.. but it probably won’t work..

They are a little over $3000 but may go up a couple of hundred more as Steve Mitchell has a long waiting list and not enough workers. I got my name on the waiting list for my 28 roadster but they could not tell me how long of a wait it will be. I do know that the wait is worth it in the long run.

Good Afternoon...Yes they are worth the wait. We've had ours for 17 years...still going strong...At that time, Sue Mitchell agreed to make a longer shift handle so that it would be the same as the gear shift...Charged $30 extra! Ernie in Arizona

When I spoke to Steve about a month ago he was quoting 6-9 months, so I'll be happy to have mine by the end of the calendar year.
