Model a diamond block head
Can any one tell me if there is any real difference between a model A head and a diamond model A head. I bought a bunch of parts off a gentleman last year and one of the parts was a never installed model A head. I was moving stuff around the garage today and happen to see the diamond casting mark on the head. I was just wondering what the difference if any there was. Does it have any more value to restorers? Any information would be great.

Re: Model a diamond block head
I think the value is in the fact that it was never installed.
Of course you'll have to check it for mouse nests. Those nasty rodents love metal homes. |

There is a perceived greater value if there is a diamond cast on the head.
