Re: Zepher dual carburettor intake manifold
I have one on a B engine in my 30 pickup. It runs great with 2 Stromberg 81's.

Re: Zepher dual carburettor intake manifold
Snyders offers a finned triple down draft intake. It doesn't have the Zepher name. It would take some doing to get three down drafts to function properly on a model A engine but it can be done.

Actually the easiest multi carb setup for a model A engine is dual updrafts. Good dual updraft manifolds are getting hard to find. |

Re: Zepher dual carburettor intake manifold
Thanks for the advice guys. It sounds a bit complicated to get to run well.
I'll stick with my stock B motor for the time being. |

Re: Zepher dual carburettor intake manifold
i run three 81's on my speedster, not complicated at all but wouldn't run them on a near-stock engine. mine runs very good, gets good gas mileage and has no flat-spots. i use stock jetting with the center acceleration pump disconnected. i wanted to try progressive linkage but couldn't find any so all are linked together. biggest problem is getting it to idle slowly, no problem on the speedster.
