Is there anyone close to the Memphis, Tennessee area

Is there anyone close to the Memphis, Tennessee area who could possibably do some reaearch for me concerning the opening date of Ford's Memphis Assembly Branch in relation to when the first Model A Ford rolled off the assembly line in 1928.

I am very close to a date but need some conformation.

pluck the memphis commercial shows a date of 4-5-28. I have a 28 phaeton moter and frame 59847 which was assembled in memphis . I am the third owner of this car

I think you are right on this...I am trying to track down a copy of the original press clipping if there was one talking about the event.

If this is so, then I have 8 to go.
