Default V8-60 front seal leaking

I am getting oil flung from the front pulley of the 37 tinside 60hp in my coupe. Not serious, but it marks its territory wherever I go and I can't visit people with smart clean driveways. How tricky is this going to be to fix?

Then it'll get stolen.

Yes, but you will be able to follow the trail of oil to find it.

You have to drop the pan, and remove timing cover, and there has to be a slinger there too, the surface on the pulley where the seal rubs has to be smooth --if it is rough or pitted it will wear the seal quick

If they steal it, you can probably catch them on foot with a 60 hp.

Use an original asbestos rope seal and soak it in oil for 3 or 4 days first.
If the crank is worn or pitted install a speedi-sleeve.
I have NEVER had one leak that way.
